We received word last night that Nate has achieved another goal on his path to world domination. :-)
Nate is now an official Adjunct Professor at Washington State University - Tri-Cities. This semester he's co-teaching ME 565 - Nuclear Reactor Engineering (neither teacher has the availability to teach twice a week for the full semester due to life and work commitments), which runs from tonight through early May. Why the nuclear class is under the mechanical engineering structure only the scheduling people know, but it is what it is.
Last semester he helped teach a different nuclear engineering class, but that was as an invited lecturer as opposed to this year's on-staff assignment. I'm not sure if this adds any additional letters behind his name (we currently joke about running through the alphabet when he signs his documents in an official capacity) but it does add weight to his credentials. I'm beyond proud of him as getting this adjunct position took time and dedication after work hours and as an unpaid volunteer. An added benefit is that we can now say he is officially a Coug!
Congratulations on your achievement, Nate. Your family is very, very proud of you!
