An Easter Gathering

This year, we were graciously invited to Bo's Grandparent's house to join in on the Vowels Easter celebration. We almost didn't go due to a crazy-busy week, but I'm so glad we decided to go even for just a few hours. The house was over-filled with people (literally - a huge group had to sit outside as there was no room inside) and there were a bunch of kids for Abby to play with, including her favorite cousins Haylee and Chase. After a yummy BBQ lunch the kids were sent to a back bedroom while a group of adults went to hide the candy filled eggs. At close to 80 eggs there were more than enough eggs for all the kids to find. Abby had an absolute ball running around and finding all her eggs. I was very thankful for the family celebration and will definitely be stepping up my own Easter egg hunting plans!

Scott and Stephanie came for a visit and we had a wonderful time catching up. Dying Easter eggs was one of our weekend activities.
Easter baskets for everyone!

A view of one side of the yard that was filled with eggs. Front, back, and one side looked like this. So many eggs!

A view of the kids and adults while Abby grabs another egg.

Abby and her loot. Chase was more into eating his chocolate than getting his picture taken.
